Pro-Health Care Rally Fight - The Person Whose Finger Was Bit Off Threw The 1st Punch
This is not being reported in the national news, but the guy who got his finger bitten off first left his group to confront the pro-health care reform crowd. Then after he return to the anti-reform side, someone approach him, they exchanged words, and HE THREW THE FIRST PUNCH! He then lost his finger in the ensuing fight according to local media. But check out the national media, and you won't fight any reference to the fact that he started the aggressive tactics.

###

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform.

A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.

The finger-biting incident occurred after a member of the group protesting health care reform, William Rice, 65, of Newbury Park, became involved in a heated discussion with a member of Code Pink, sheriff’s Capt. Ross Bonfiglio said.

After the argument, Rice returned to where his own group was standing.

A man from Moveon.org’s area then walked over to the opponents and verbally confronted Rice, allegedly calling him names and acting aggressively, Bonfiglio said.

Rice later told investigators he felt threatened by the man and punched him in the nose, Bonfiglio said.

The punch set off a fist fight between the two men, during which the tip of Rice’s left pinky finger was bitten off, Bonfiglio said.

1. His finger injury is covered by Medicare.
As all our injuries could be if our Congress cared more about Americans than corporations.

3. conservatives and the media always acted shocked, shocked I tell ya,
when anyone fights back, literally or figuratively. In person or in print. Rice hit first.

Another thing, when you think about it, apparently the biter had hands around his face and possibly throat, and maybe was being chocked to the point where it meant biting or death. The whole thing sounds like self defense to me.

4. the attacker is having a hissy fit
because his victim had the audacity to fight back!

Don't the Repugniconvicts have the mindset that if you blink at a liberal, the liberal would just blow away like a feather?

5. Faux must be repoting that the guy who bit his finger off
started the whole thing. Last night my dad told me in great detail how this man was standing there on his side of the street minding his own business, when this pro-healthcare guy came up and got in his face for no reason, cussing him and calling him names.
