The news story was that civilians may have (Media-speak = 'definitely') been killed when we dropped some bombs. We've heard this before...

Alex the Great stated - and I'm paraphrasing but not much - that when the Taliban mixes with civilians, ya just can't tell the difference from way up there!!!"

It's like having Sara Palin doing the 'news' - today, she called S. California "My 'hood" and quickly added that she was from there originally. Also, she's breathless when speaking with David Shuster..."Youuuuuu knoooooow, Daavvvid..."

Weird...

I suppose it's b/c she's lost her regular daytime gig and is only on when others are on 'vacation'...as though these overpaid newsreaders would ever know what a real day's work is all about...

1. Witless, clueless, vapid, innocuous, and certainly insipid: why should others like our killing their

civilians while tracking down terraists on their own soil any better than Americans would like civilians being killed here by a foreign power tracking down their brand of terraist lurking on our soil? I still haven't gotten a satisfactory answer to this seemingly dichotomous viewpoint. :P
