Oh yeah, he was at the Emma E. Booker Elementary School.

2. And there wasn't a peep from the left about him being at a school
Edited on Fri Sep-04-09 02:54 PM by yodoobo
Nobody, and I mean nobody complained about him visiting a school. Its just what Presidents do.

there was certainly justified anger about his reaction to the attacks, but that is not at issue

In fact, there wasn't even a single protests or ill word in the days leading up to his school visit. Nobody cared.

Racism is the only explanation for this outlandish reaction to Obama's wonderful gesture.

3. Oops!

As the WH says, it's 'silly season' in America.

I saw the moron who is objecting to having his child 'indoctrinated' on Anderson Cooper last night. Cooper asked him if he had objected when Bush spoke to school-children. He changed the subject from just objecting to presidents speaking to them to objecting to presidents 'handing out lesson plans'.

AC pointed out that no one knew what the president was going to say so how could he be objecting to something that hadn't happened yet?

The other guest again asked the question 'did you object to Bush speaking to school-children'. Again, he managed to avoid answering the question.

In the end, he was not pressured enough to answer the question and simply used the platform to rant and rave and push his own agenda.

I don't understand why these lunatics are getting air time at all. It doesn't matter to them what questions are asked, they simply repeat their talking points and the very fact they are on at all, gives them legitimacy they do not have.

Imo, AC did a poor job of insisting that he answer the question. He let him off the hook.

10. We would all know nothing about it if the video hadn't been leaked
Edited on Fri Sep-04-09 04:44 PM by lunatica
That thought scares me. A lot

What else has happened where there was no video or the video was confiscated?

We would have had to take their word for it that he acted like a real hero the moment he heard. They would have probably named everything after him, including the Freedom Towers.

11. "Public schools aren't the government's role" would've been Bush's next covert step
if his "Hurricane Katrina Aid isn't the government's role" hadn't blown-up in his face.

That 9/11 school stop was a photo-op, and a human shield, conveniently scheduled.
