1. Met Kerouack back in the late 50s. His ego was the size of the |

lower East side and was probably the most pretentious a$$hole I'd ever met at the time. Thanks for the vid. I could only make it in about two minutes..Ha..

2. I've seen this film many times .... BUT |
|
I sure hope they got permission from Robert Frank ("The Americans"--one of the great photographic series of all time) and Alfred Leslie to put a video of this film online. The artists should have the right to make sure the print is correct ... (they have the right to control their own images); and they should have the right to deny distribution if they so wish, if they still retain copyright. Maybe they have given their blessing; but there is a big risk to an artist's work to having it misappropriated.
Pull My Daisy is one of the important experimental American films of its time, and it was very influential. I'm glad people are watching it. But I have a problem with web sites thinking they can just take anybody's work and put it up, if that is the case.

|
I would not have known about it if it was not posted on google. I do not know if this is a legit link - not sure if permission was granted or not.. I do know that I wouldn't have known it existed if not for this link..
