Is there a good "fact check" site on health care? |
|
I am seeing such a deluge of mis- and dis-information, it would be great to have a good reference, rather than googling each individual outlandish claim coming from the right wing talking machine.
For example, someone just told me the average personal income in Great Britain is 58%, due mainly to the government healthcare system. He had to get that from somewhere... probably either Limbaugh or Hannity... but in 2 minutes I found on Wikipedia, the average personal income in GB is 34%.
so does anyone know a good "fact check" site that to try to combat all the disinformation?
thanks

1. Fact: if a republican says it, it's false. |

2. most of the time that's true... but I need the data to prove it |
|
and I can make a public spectacle of it... the discussion I'm having with this particular republican is on one of those social networking thingys... where other people can see what we say... so there's a reason I want to slam this guy with facts
