To those who will keep your kids home from school Tuesday. I think it's a form of child abuse

making your kids stay home because YOU hate the color of the president's skin. Teaching your kids to be suspicious and hate other races or people who think differently. Setting your kids up for ridicule by other kids for being kept home because of an educational message by the president. Teaching hate. Teaching disrespect. Forcing your kids to excel in stupid, like you.

Being raised by bigots and stupid people should be considered child abuse.

1. Those students forced to miss it are the same who most need to see it.

Thankfully, I believe that the "forbidden fruit" principal will insure that a significant number of these kids, the older ones, will make sure they find the youtube to see what it was they were forbidden to see.

And if true, that makes me smile.

One way to make sure a kid looks at something is to tell them they aren't allowed to.

3. I am so ashamed of our country's people right now

Our country's leader is trying to give our children some good advice and people are holding their kids' ears. This is truly the stupidest thing I have ever seen... I am truly amazed at how outer limits our country has gone. What kind of example are we showing our kids....shame shame shame...I hope my kids get to see it.

5. Sad to see so many of the next generation being ruined, being made

suspicious and distrustful of people of color--because if kids are taught to fear and despise the black President, of all people, what chance do everyday black people have? And if someone comes on here telling me that not everyone who opposes the President speaking to children is racist, I'll put my foot through the monitor and up his/her stupid ass.

6. That is the very way that bigotry has always been taught

So in reality, that is the reality of the way life is. Children are taught to be bigots. Why should it be any different now? With a little luck many of those students will rebel against their parents and watch the forbidden videos just because.
