At what point does contributions to political campaigns |

and subsequent votes and bills that favor the contributors become illegal bribery or quid pro quo? I'm referring to the health care bill that is being bastardized in the senate because of political campaign contributions.

But if we aren't going to have publicly financed elections, we should mandate than every congressperson recuse themselves from any vote that directly impacts an industry represented as a contributor.
