1. Have no fear
the creepy shit will begin around noon. When is MSNBC gonna get with it? It pains me to have to watch CNN or Fox.

9. How are their ratings? Faux and even Republican
Edited on Sat Sep-05-09 10:23 AM by doc03
politicians like to gloat about their poor ratings. They can't possibly be as good as CNN or Faux simply because Compost won't carry them unless you pay for premium services. I can't watch Faux for even 5 minutes anymore it's bash Democrats 24/7 but everywhere I go that channel is always on..I caught about two minutes of O'Liely last night and he plays Sarah Palin ranting about Obama's death panels. Then the VP says Republicans are claiming Obama supports euthanasia, O'liely says there is nowhere in her speech where she mentions anything about euthanasia but their audience are so f-----g stupid they can't figure out that is what a death panel would be. I haven't been able to get MSNBC for about a year and a half, I refuse to pay $70 a month for TV that I rarely watch. I have been thinking about just going back to the basic basic $12 a month service. If there is one thing needs competition it's cable TV.

10. Olbermann is the top rated show in his time slot.

Among sane people. He kicks the living shit out of CNN. O'Leilly has about twice the viewers but they are all fuckheads so they don't count.

3. I think they've always
had some saturday news coverage in the mornings.

I have to wonder if anyone really watches those prison shows. They are pretty boring.

4. I hear they're going to run a new prison series, Prison Survivor.
Two teams of prisoners set free on Alcatraz while cameras roll. When contestants are voted off, they're literally offed. Should be a big hit with the kiddies and wingnuts.

6. It's a nod to corporate overlords
some of whom have a vested interest in keeping some percentage of the population behind bars. Corporate America loves the idea of private prisons: a captive source of cheap labor right here in the US of A.
