Steve Mazan is a comedian diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was his dream to go on the Letterman show before he died. He petitioned CBS numerous times for the opportunity to perform on the show, but he was repeatedly denied. Just because you have terminal cancer does not mean that you get to do a comedy routine on the Letterman show -- you have to earn it. Okay. Fair enough -- and Mazan thought so too. So he worked at it. He worked really hard at it. He was on twice with Craig Ferguson and he performed for the troops in Iraq. And finally, Letterman called. Last night he performed.
