Three reasons why corporations resist Obama & one reason RW base does.

1) Net neutrality: Comcast & Verizon hate it.

2) Cap 'n' Trade: Power companies, oil & coal utilities hate it.

3) Health Care reform: hospital & insurance companies hate it.

Much money is at stake. We're talking about a big chunk of the GNP. The corporations with interests at stake will roll out their Republican Astroturf Fox talking points, hire their lobbyists, and rally their base against these three measures.

Their base, of course, is easy to rally because -- horrors! -- Obama is half black.

America is an ugly place these days.

(Extra credit for those less lazy than I: exactly what % of GNP is telecom, power, and healthcare combined?)

it's all or nothing with them. They see him as black, period.
