Oudin vs Sharapova (spoiler)
Melanie Oudin beat Maria Sharapova in the third round.

After Serena Williams, she is the most competitive player on the tour. With both of them, you aren't safe until you are on your way home with the trophy.

Love me some Williams!! Love me some Oudin.

1. Great match, although it's mostly college football day.
Since the games on TV aren't competitive, I surfed over there, and enjoyed it. Maria is easy on the eyes, but I can do without the endless grunting on every shot. Anyway, great match, compelling stuff.

2. Is Oudin the one with the crazy coach that acts like every point...
Takes an hour out of his life?
I saw this guy the other day, and I was wondering why he's not walking around with a tennis racket jammed up his ass.

3. When she was playing Dementieva earlier in the week
I told hubby that the day she sorts out her serve she'll be awesome. She was lucky today as they both served badly - Sharapova double faulted the match away.
Imagine that she is only 17. Unfortunately she already has one thigh strapped which suggests that she already has hamstring problems. It's a pity - she has lovely footwork.

4. Hopefully, she will last.
Except for Serena and Venus, I don't give a hoot about tennis much. This kid has some cojones.

5. And that squawking, screeching, Sharapova can hit the fucking bricks.
Damn, she gives me a headache!
