The media is trying to ruin Obama. Remember Adam Clymer?
Now Newt Gingrich was having an affair as he was trying to ruin Bill Clinton over Monica and yet he shows up as pundit
yapping away about all the faults of President Obama.

The press dutifully reported about W going to spend time @ his "Prairie Chapel Ranch" which was nothing more than a set
built by Enron and his Texas oil buddies where the cattle were rentals and their manure was hauled away rather than spread on
the pastures as real ranches do because Laura didn't like the smell.

Dick Cheney shot a man in the face after drinking and had a witness to the shooting flown out of the country and waited 18 hours
before he talked to the police. Hardly a word about these actions w/ in 48 hours after the accident.

Colin Powell held up a small vile of white powder in front of the U.N. to justify a war in Iraq even though the administration knew with in
2 weeks after the anthrax that was used in the 2001 / 2002 attacks came from Ft. Dettrick, MD.

Dick Armey called Barney Frank, Barney Fag ..... Dick Cheney
told Pat Lehay to "go fuck himself" ....... local school are stopping Obama's address to students because of the screaming of a vocal minority .......

And now Van Jones has to quit over calling these assholes, what they are assholes.

Clymer may be best known for an incident on September 4, 2000, when Bush and running mate Dick Cheney appeared at a campaign event at Naperville, Illinois.
While on stage before the event, Bush said to Cheney, "There's Adam Clymer, major league asshole from the New York Times." Cheney responded, "Oh yeah, he is, big time."

1. If you're going to blame the Times, then blame Rich, Dowd and Herbert, not Clymer. nt

5. I am not blaming Clymer or the NY Times I was pointing out the ...
.... hypocrisy. Sorry if my point was unclear.

6. Sorry. Yes, there's enough hypocrisy to spread around, isn't there?

3. I used to respect a lot of people in the media. These days, though,
I'm down to a scarce few.

About enough for a poker game.

4. I'd say
conservatives are trying to ruin Obama. Although the media is certainly complicit. The freepers are yukking it up in sick-o freepland, making a list of those they can get rid of next. Sometimes I'm drawn over there just because it is so mind boggling, but today it was too painful to stay longer than a minute. I hate it when they win. :grr:

8. Another perspective: Bush damaged the role of a president.

And Cheney was probably even more responsible for diminishing the presidency.
Add in bloodthirsty media and a big dose of racism and .... here we are.
