6. I cancelled my small, but regular, donation to Senator Boxer.
She obviously doesn't need my money and I haven't noticed her doing anything brave about Health Care reform.

8. too bad this healthcare reform thing didn't start in a different place . . .
if Obama and others supporting the so-called public option had made removing private corporations from the healthcare equation altogether their opening position, those corporations would be begging for the public option to pass so that their golden goose wouldn't be totally cooked . . .

it's all about where you set the playing field . . . by opening with a desire to keep corporations in the mix, we give them the opportunity to fight to retain complete control of the healthcare system . . . if we'd opened with removing them from healthcare altogether, they'd be singing an entirely different tune right now . . .
