One of our right-leaning readers is going to have to explain it to me why Beck wants to don some vaguely communist-looking uniform and pose like Mussolini.

I mean when even Rush cries "Nazi" against the left, he doesn't actually dress up as one.

Why this?

Maybe Beck just figures his audience loves a man in a uniform.

It drives me nuts every time I think about James Carville and Mary Matalin being married... Normally, such a relationship wouldn't bother me... But, today it's clear that individuals (empowered by modern media and technology) can have massive and instant effects on society...

Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are proof that certain individuals can have a grossly disproportionate impact on the rest of us... I can't help but think how two top strategists (of opposing ideologies) living together influence the debate in our society... How much does Carville's and Matalin's pillow talk cause chaos for the rest of us.

3. It's pretty obvious

Beck is really insane! I have listened to him talk, on youtube clips, and this guy is not playing with a full deck. I really think he has some serious mental problems, and Fox news lets him stay because a lot of "nuts" watch Fox news, and they like Beck. Beck plays to their fears because he is just like they are, and when it comes to ratings Fox doesn't care if the majority of Beck's viewers aren't playing with a full deck, they just like it that he gets high numbers. How can anyone in their right mind listen to Beck, or defend him? Right now the republican party is full of birthers, deathers, tin foil hat nuts, and just plain old insane people. Add to that the poor confused elderly that they have worked up with their fear, and you have the future of the republican party. I think that as time goes by many of them will see through the fear, but there will always be the nuts that like Beck!
