If believing in the possibility of some conspiracy
involving the President and having ties to an extremist organization is now the criteria for resignation, then almost every elected or appointed GOP official should resign in mass.

I doubt if you can find one who hasn't approved of or has someone on their staff who is a birther, deather, dicker, tenther, or whatever is the idea for the day. They also probably have some ties to an organization that is close to sailing off the edge of the Earth.

It would take a whole lot less than 6 degrees of separation to link up these people.

Just watching or appearing on Faux News should get you automatically removed from office.

Edited on Mon Sep-07-09 04:53 AM by Hannah Bell
foreign-born member of the communist party dedicated to the overthrow of the usa with the aid of cadres like van johnson - jones - whatever -

it this not conspiracy theory?

my question is, why doesn't obama stand firm against the bullshit?

giving in to bullies isn't good strategy. why would he?

2. I don't know.
You don't get rid of sharks by feeding them.

5. you get rid of bullies by reconciling with them?
i don't think so. it assumes bullies are just lost souls or something, secretly desiring peace love & understanding.

am i missing your point?

6. Right grits, and we've ALL got to stop feeding them,
AND doubting the bona fides of the current administration. Its diminishing us all, and will diminish the likeliehood of a continuing future.

7. "bona fides"
I have to disagree with you. This incident gives me no assurance of bona fides. Obama is backing away from the cowards who made this an issue. Doesn't sit right with me at all.

8. My point exactly.
If we want to succeed, we must not declare that we question whether the administration has our best interests at heart. The reps/cons want JUST that, to encourage Dems/progs/libs etc. to splinter. Its a killer.
