i saw it on teevee.

he said that IF the speech was non-partisan, non-political, etc then students SHOULD hear it, just like happened with bush/reagan. but that he would wait until today to see the speech so he could come to a conclusion.

fwiw, this is the only SANE response from the right, and ime there are a few who were against ANY obama speech, but many (like gingrich) just wanted ot hear the speech and then make up their mind based on the speech itself.

fwiw, even I wouldn't want the speech to be broadcast in schools IF it was some sort of partisan thang, but it is clear NOW that it isn't.
