My ten year old laughed her ass off. They were kept home today to see the President's speech, so the right wingers and the racists didn't stop my kids from seeing it.

What to do about a school district where the principle called the President 'controversial' to me on the phone, when I called to ask why the speech wasn't being aired. I asked which part is controversial? The part where he tells kids to study hard, the part that he a Democrat, or that he is black? She didn't answer.

I am seriously considering home-school at this point. I had my first bachelors degree when their teachers were still in high school. I think I can handle it. I just don't want my kids around these types without my protection, at least until they reach the age of reason.
