not many.
One eerie thing I got on photo that came out kind of silhouette ..they had a cop in a basket on a crane in the middle of the crowd with a sniper rifle.
Wasn't really much to photo
on edit

21. oh the owner of my company |
|
would probably give Beck a blowjob on stage right there. He loves the man.
This was more calculated though. All the coal mining bigwigs were there so they wanted some presence for our company.Company had bigass balloons with name on them flying over our area.Caterers feeding standard bbq type food to anyone who wanted some.
They wanted some company presence while pressing flesh was their main goal.
But yeah anyone from the company that attended got paid for the day and with it being a holiday we got DT. I could use 8 hours of DT so we showed..ate...left

that laughable, imaginary thing that's as elusive and unreal as the unicorn.
Good for you - I imagine you had to sign in somewhere?
Free food?
My goodness, I grew up in the anthracite country of eastern Pennsylvania, and I saw how the coal company owners treated the people - like crap - but they bought their loyalty every damn time with the smallest little throwaways imaginable.
Today, you got DT and free food, and I say you'd have been a fool not to attend.
But, imagine the cravenness of those executives. And imagine how hard they're laughing at the people who turned out and who were THRILLED to have been invited!
Makes me really, really sad for my country.
Thanks for the report, though - you did good, my friend.................

I hope it was far less than that. Useful idiots.

Obviously their racist priorities are misplaced.

this thing was in the middle of freaking no where.I mean NO WHERE!.They had to be smartasses and hold it at an old mountaintop removal site. They were shuttling people in from every parking lot for twenty miles.
The crowd *by the time we left* wasn't that crazy.Very few signs.Nothing really over the top as far as signs go. Some no socialist healthcare blah blah crap.Nothing really photo worthy.
Nugent was WAY over the top, saying when the feds come for his guns he will give them up one bullet at a time.BY far the most controversial speaker there. He was pretty out there.
a few others spoke before we left.Blankenship whined about how he put out a cool million to put this kkk rally on.Couple of local mayors talked.
Really wasn't the big deal they are making it out to be.Lots of people..LOTS of people. Was kind of anticlimactic to be honost but we did leave before they had a chance to get too much moonshine in em.
All in all a disappointing dud

28. LOTS of matching shirts |
|
I would guess 1/4 of the people were there with nice little patriotic slogan shirts from their companies
Ours said *I'm proud to be an American worker* on the front and friends of America of all things on the back
Lots of people wearing similar themes. My guess would be 1/4 at least were *pursuaded* to go by their employer

Well, I hope you got at least one crowd shot. Matching t-shirts are always a sign that the attendees were paid/invited, as opposed to actual fans.

He said that if it wasn't for the electoral college Obama wouldn't be president?? He seemed to think that the popular vote should decide the electon ignoring the fact Obama won both and that if we did it his way Gore would have won in 80. Know he had some head injuries maybe he was just having cognitive problems.

With the exception of the gun issue and the coal issue there isn't that strong of an anti gov't sentiment in Southern WV.
I'm not joking that in some communities nearly everyone is on SSI, Disability, or is retired from the gov't. The rest either work for gov't or work in the mines or timber industry.
Did they have Jesco there??
