Remember the noght & MORNING when the Pubs finally passed the Medicare Part D bill? Why can;t the Dems do the same kind of arm twisting the Pubs did & get this health care bill passed? I don't approve of those tactics but we are dealing with a minority that are dedicated to killing the program, AND a group of Dems who are scared shitless of losing an election. I don't see another option.

1. We've got to hold onto our high minded principles, so it wont happen

The same excuse...er......"reason" that has caused our party to be perceived as wimps by the opposition, and has prevented any bills meaningful to the progressives from being passed since LBJ.

2. No leadership and too many cowards.

I agree we all may suffer because the President has not lead and also because too many Dems are acting like cowards. They are failing to get things done even when they have overwhelming control of both houses of Congress and the White House. That is unacceptable.
