Why was it OK for GW Bush to ask American Children to send $1 to the WH
for the children of Afghanistan, yet it's not ok for Pres. Obama to encourage kids to stay in school and set goals for themselves?

Personally, my kids didn't join Bush's campaign, but instead sent money to UNICEF- and Heifer Project International- (i didn't see why the WH should be collecting funds that were supposedly going to go to the children of a nation we were bombing-)

Maybe the republicans are making the Presidents speech to students into such a big deal in part because THEY are projecting their own agenda (manipulating children) onto Obama,- not imagining that it's possible for a President to sincerely care about ALL Americans- not just those who share his political affiliation.

Not that anyone should be shocked to learn they were stealing from little kids, but still.

2. we didnt have the dollar, but both kids in younger grades had to write bush a letter
supporting him and war....

i told kids that they were not allowed to be disrespectful adn had to find a positive message to send to bush.

when dropping off kids to school i reminded them of that and also bush 1 and reagan, so they can have info when it comes up in class.

looking forward to hearing what happened in their day

5. Well, first of all...
this statement

"when dropping off kids to school i reminded them of that and also bush 1 and reagan, so they can have info when it comes up in class."

Reminded them what of Bush and Reagan? And the way you strung the statements together the timeline is all fucked up. It sounds like you are referencing the past talking about writing Chimpy a leter, the went to the above statement. Did you remind them of Bush and Reagan when they had to write Chimpy a letter? or more recently?

Everything sounds like it is past tense then you state you look forward to hearing what happened during their day. The day that happened years ago or "today".

Maybe it's just early
