This is why the Industry is against it. This is why Democrats who get money from Industry are against it.

A "Public Option" will not have the obligation of paying a CEO vast sums of dollars. It will not have the obligation of paying a dividend to stockholders. It will not have the need to have tax-deductible advertising budgets. It will not have the need to pay high administrative costs..

It will do what it was created to do - become a clearing house for payments from me to my doctor.
