BREAKING! - If you play Obama's speech backwards there are hidden messages!
Edited on Tue Sep-08-09 12:04 PM by HopeHoops
Only a few have been decoded so far..

"BURN your birth certificates"

"Kill Grandma"

"You will be assimilated"

"This is a neighborhood. It ain't no residential district!"

"I like eggs, Howard."

"These are simple folks. They're morons."

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

"Spread the wealth. Steal from the rich and throw the money on the streets for all to share. BWAAAHAAAHAAA HAAA!"

"But I don't WANT to go on the cart."

On Edit:

Over 20 years ago, some preacher played old TV show theme songs backwards. He discovered something amazing. The line "Unless of course the horse of course" (from Mr. Ed) played backwards ALMOST sounds like "Someone sung this song for Satan". Not only was the technology to accomplish that unavailable (and barely now), that's really a stretch. I heard it on the radio - you could ALMOST make it out (not quite). Too much time on his hands.

Damn he was talented. I've got one of his live performances on laser disc. I haven't watched it yet. It is one of the earlier ones so it would be best to do it when the children are preoccupied with something else.

Maybe I had the playback set for "mellow" instead of "fascist".

14. this is not funny.
my son thinks that 'yes we can' played backwards says 'thank you satan'.

i did explain to him about the whole beatles thing, and he swears that that whole thing is also true. probably believes that paul is dead.

That doesn't sound at ALL like "thank you Satan". Is he doing drugs or worse - watching FOX?

Edited on Tue Sep-08-09 12:25 PM by Sebastian Doyle
Oddly enough..... it does sound like "Thank You Satan" :scared:

Not saying that was the intention, but it really does

Now some of the other "satanic messages" they found in this speech are completely ridiculous

19. it's not hard to alter voice tracks these days.
i think that clip is massaged quite a bit.
but the whole thing is pretty absurd. the human mind's drive to find patterns in speech is pretty strong. but the lengths some people take it to....

15. "It's fun to smoke marijuana" - Queen

Those were the days huh? Styx, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Queen were all accused of being secret satanists.

17. Ah, Queen - man did they have some fun.
I have a theory.

At some point, Queen was at a show with some southern band (lets say Alabama for the sake of argument). The southern band was ragging on them for being a bunch of faggots (they were gay, and proud of it, no judgment on my part here) and said their music sucked. Freddie pointed out that all three chords they use in their music were easily reproduced and any band could make a southern rock song in half an hour.

To prove their point, they wrote "Fat Bottom Girls".

That's just my theory.

20. they?
actually I think none were "gay". Freddie was bisexual at the time. Brain May has been married and divorced and John Deacon was/is married throughout his whole Queen career.

also Brain May wrote Fat Bottom Girls not Freddie.

24. I just said it was a theory.
Besides, it doesn't matter who was or was not gay (doesn't bother me one way or the other). They sang beautiful harmonies and "looked gay" to those inclined to think such things. The song just strikes me as a parody of southern "got a rebel flag in the back window of my pickup" bands.

22. I thought Freddie was the only gay memeber of Queen?
Not that it matters in the least.

In the 70's we used to play "We Are The Champions" whenever we won a flag-football game. Nobody complained that Freddie was gay.

26. I have no issues with the sexual orientation of others.
Actually, one of the girls I had a crush on in high school was a known lesbian. I never asked her out for that reason, out of respect actually. I ran into her ten years later. She was married, had a child, and was a doctor in a Boston hospital. The issue of sexual orientation never came up, but if I hadn't already been married to a wonderful woman I would have kicked myself into Tibet for never asking her out.

25. Alabama?
I doubt that Queen would have played the same show with a country band. Skynyrd or Molly Hatchet maybe?

Though I never thought "Fat Bottomed Girls" sounded remotely like "Southern Rock".

31. The opening of "One Vision" on the Iron Eagle soundtrack sounds like a backwards message
but it's really just slowed way down and says "We're messing with your minds, with mysterious rays"

27. Reminds me of the ELO tune "Fire on High"
It starts with a backwards-masked vocal which, when un-reversed, says, "The music is reversible, but time is not. Turn back! Turn back!"

The cool part is that the background music during the vocal really IS reversible, consisting of a symmetric motif.

29. Pink Floyd deliberately encoded the song "Empty Spaces" on The Wall
Edited on Tue Sep-08-09 01:12 PM by Sebastian Doyle
the vocal is barely audible and it sounds like just random gibberish in the background (like a TV is on or something) but when you play it backwards it says "Congratulations. You just discovered the secret message!" and then something about "Old Pink, care of the funny farm".

When he's talking about doing homework, it REALLY says "Glenn Beck's head is so far up his ass he needs a window in his stomach to look out." when you play it backwards.
