Senate Judiciary Committee schedules nomination hearings on four of Obama's federal nominees

The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled a hearing on several of Obama's Federal Judicial nominees. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the Dirksen Senate Office Building at 2:30 p.m.

Senator Whitehouse will preside over the hearing, which is divided into two panels.


Panel I

The first will be for the consideration of Joseph A. Greenaway to be United States Circuit Court Judge for the Third Circuit. See my previous posts about Judge Grennaway:

Panel II

The second panel will be for the consideration of three of Obama's Federal District nominations: Roberto A. Lange (to be United States District Judge for the District of South Dakota), Irene Cornelia Berger (to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of West Virginia), and Charlene Edwards Honeywell (to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Florida).
