Poll question: Should The Health Care Crisis be considered a State of Emergenecy?
More than 18,000 Americans are dying each year because they can't afford healthcare (study from 2002, the numbers are projected to be worse today). 3017 people died in 9/11 and more than 1800 people died in Katrina.

Should the Health Care Crisis be considered a State of Emergency?

1. Absofucking lutley!!!!
And for that matter, so should the number of unemployed and under-employed. We need emergency aide.... FEMA checks... to those who are suffering from medical expenses due to lack of coverage or denied claims as well as those who are not able to find employment.

5. Yes
And I don't think the Congress and the President are being strong enough on this issue. In my opinion, I believe they are letting the other side dictate the issue.
