2. I am afraid you are right. 5 months ago their was a 75% approval. The Democrats dropped the ball |
|
What were they thinking?
After 8 years under bush, with lies and distortions, that nothing would happen?
I do not know if it is too late or not, but it sure is depressing

16. Right, like giving right-wing bully crowds the opportunity to trash healthcare reform day after day |
|
at town hall meetings and gain national attention for doing it. The way Democrats handled this I am surprised they hold the White House and Congress. Must be more that the Republicans are so inept.
Yes, the ball has been dropped badly on this one. Let's hope the administration can learn from their mistakes in the future.

3. What type of a question is this? "a healthcare reform?". Which one? |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-09-09 10:59 AM by Mass
The media and Gallup continue to think we are stupid. No surprise more than 20 % of people have no opinion. 80 % of people answering this poll wanted to hear their voice, given there was no real question here!

9. The question was different. I approve of a healthcare reform. I cannot tell you I would |

direct my congressperson to vote YES if I do not know what is in the bill.
You cannot compare 2 polls with different questions. All we can say is that, in August, the situation has not evolved much, which is a sign that the media noise saying that August was fatal to the reform are hogwash.

13. Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, that won't be the way the media will be |
|
reporting this. In fact I just heard someone on Bloomberg promoting this poll, not how the question was asked

if President Obama tells us we will only pay for the one we choose. Telling us we HAVE to pay for one and have the option to pay for two, won't change anything.
