Olbermann: O'Donnell on No Universal Coverage - 'That's When We See Explosion on Internet'
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=385&topic_id=367838&mesg_id=367838Keith Olbermann and Lawrence O'Donnell's pithy exchange points to a REAL reaction online and in the streets, if the public is screwn out of universal health care coverage, YET AGAIN. O'Donnell points out the Internet and MSNBC didn't exist in the '90's when "we" were drafting legislation. This time it's different.
They also discuss the business-as-usual policy of Democrats expecting to always have the votes at the last minute, cuz where else are all ya'll suckers gonna go? That oughtta get some hackles up.
So, what? Explosion? Barricades?
Where is our effective online action? Where is our non-violent Progressive Movement, ready to mobilize and march for universal health care?
Do we need to invent a campaign to flash mob every town hall, Capitol and one stoplight town across the nation? Peacefully.

Thom Hartmann - Why does America have the most sick & twisted healthcare in the developed world?

Call this number and ask to speak with your Representative: (202) 224-3121
Over the weekend, Max Baucus, the Senate "Democrat" holding up health care reform for the insurance industry, came out with his health care reform plan. Frankly, it's garbage - no public option, no big reforms.
Baucus's bill actually forces low- to middle-income American to buy "junk" insurance they can't afford to use, amounting to a giant transfer of wealth to the insurance industry.
Real health care reform must include a public option. Anything else is an insurance industry bailout.
With President Obama speaking to Congress tonight, we need to make that message heard loud and clear.
