For those who sacrificed effort, time & money to get Obama Elected, It's Time For The Payoff ...
Republicans cannot be trusted to negotiate in good faith, as they are inextricably tied to the corporate big money special interests.

Bipartisanship is not happening, will not happen, and has been used by Republicans as part of their strategy to 'slow walk' healthcare reform to death.

The time is now for Obama to rediscover the Franklin D. Roosevelt moment of his Presidency, shrug off the sirens of defeat and boldly speak to the American people explaining we cannot wait for the special interests and healthcare insurance representatives to 'come around' and voluntarily give up the billions of dollars they scrape off the top each year.

It is time for the 'change we can believe in' and that time has arrived.

Democrats will act alone to fix the healthcare problem, and Republicans can vote against it if they like. But in the end, Democrats will act and the American people will be better off for it.

IF Obama takes this approach he will establish his legacy in his first year in office. If he pursues the unattainable wisp of an idea of 'bipartisanship' he will find that the next 3 years will be especially tough.

Think FDR and be strong...
