Good turnout for Tea Party ( 17 people )
That was in our newspaper this morning I couldn't find a link for it. But anyway they reported they had a Tea Party meeting yesterday evening and had a good turnout of 17 people from 4 different counties. I looked up the population of the four counties and all totalled there were 244,561 people in those counties by the 2000 census. How in the hell can we let a tiny vocal minority of 17 dictate the health care polices for the other 244,544 people? The people elected this President and gave us control of the Congress, screw the Glenn Beck nut cases.

1. Did they have capes like super heroes?
According to the moron alcoholic beck, they have us surrounded.

An interesting ltte in the New Orleans Times Picayune asked a similar question, why the hell does a small bunch of big mouthed assholes drive the debate? The writer blamed the media for covering every little fart coming from a fake patriot. Not exact words but it was the gist of the letter.

3. A million liberal war protestors in NYC is "a few". 20 rethugs w/ illiterate signs is a media event
and a colossal country-wide movement.

5. Yup, that's hugh alright!!11! ... LOL

A lot like the "Fire Letterman" crowd. They had over two thousand who swore they would be there and when
the time came to show up they were outnumbered by the media. About a dozen actually showed up.

6. How does a turnout of 17 equal good turnout? LOL
And no doubt that the vocal minority seems to get a lot done by being just that......VOCAL. I think that is where we on the left fail our causes. The vocal screwballs show up to get Letterman fired for his jokes against Palin, and they get an apology from him. Glenn Beck calls Obama a racist, and not jokingly, and we complain on line, but I have not seen anything to come equal to what the right does to get their voices heard. So what happens? Beck keeps on spewing his brand of hatred on a daily basis. Something is really messed up with that.
