To the Mexican response team...
My hat is off to you. You got this done the right way. What is the right way?

When NOBODY gets hurt... and all get to go home at the end of the day.

And all the second guessing by Muricans is just that, second guessing

After all, we DO KNOW that nobody else in the world can do this...

:sarcasm:

And I do expect to see their airport security, which is very high, even in internal flights, to go up even more... and change in ways none of the idiots on the TV machine can guess.

Here is a clue...

When we still could go to gates to say hi to relatives and friends, you could not in Mexico... even EMS had a hell of a time doing that in medical emergencies...

And yes, ALL security can be breached, ALL OF IT.

But oooh boy the review will be nasty... I am guessing.

1. Mexico is proving to be way ahead of us intellectually and socially.

2. The levels of poverty are very high
and it is not all peaches and cream, but the Federal Police and the Special Forces train for this. Hell, we were trained on where to stand in a case of kidnapping, so I was a little surprised to see EMS rigs that close.

Also the President was either on the way or at the Airport... so the team was in place, that helps, and I am sure had a green light from the git go.

3. They don't seem to get bogged down by "moral" dilemmas.

4. Nope, in kidnappings nobody gets bogged in dilemas
I was part (by accident, mostly knew the right answer when asked) of a dynamic entry team... they were missing a medic who was down with the flu. So they put me where I should not get in the way... and we got our package out healthy and alive. Now one of the bad guys had a bad lethal headache... but that is another story.

The other two went to jail for a LONG TIME.

Oh and CNN got the exclusive in exchange for not going life with it.

:-)
