Obama Admin is pissed Baucus released it to K-street first and it's not even something that would past muster with Obama.

UPDATE: The real killer here is that the plan is the same plan that was floated well before the recess... so why did Baucus sit on it? The Obama admin is quite upset with how Baucus has handled this. I think Baucus is in deep shitus.

there are too many insurance dollars flying around washington to get something that is actually in OUR interest.

I believe he's going to start kicking ass. It started with his speech at the union picnic, and it's going to be PROGRESSING from here on out. This is going to be an interesting moment in the legislative process. I can't wait.

9. I don't understand why more people aren't excited about this. Baucus plan was total crap

and we should feel relieved that Obama won't even consider it. It's a good sign as the only other bills being considered by Congress have at least a Public Option.
