If the market value (stock prices as a prediction of future profitability) of the private health insurance sector is not notably lowered by any HCR plan that passes then the plan is... let's say not so good.

This isn't a zero-sum game but at the very least the future profits of the insurance sector should be somewhat lower.

We don't need no stinking CBO... CNBC will have all the details.

(Of course some negative expectations are already priced in, but those are mostly expectations of a relatively toothless plan.)
