Why am I so goddamn nervous?
It's 2 1/2 hours before the President speaks and I'm actually nervous about it. Why?

Seriously, I have the same jitters that I had the day of his election.

1. this will make or break him amongst many dems in his base is why
hes already been damned disappointing to a lot of people on a lot of issues he has either backpedalled on, or out and out ignored when it comes to campaign promises. He backs off public option, the good kind, and goes again with the DLC, and a lot of people in his base will consider this the final straw.

2. Everybody is.....it's a huge huge moment in our lives
I almost feel nauseous (like election day)
But I'm really worried that we're to be let down somehow. I don't want to believe he lied to us.

3. Cause you need a drink. Here, let me pour you one and drink it for you
Feel better?

Probably because it is D-Day on health care.

6. Because after tonight we will know...
If he will allow a non-reform health care reform bill to pass, thus tossing his base under the bus, assuring a serious primary challenge, or "dance with the one who brung him" and act like a Democrat. A lot is at stake.

15. This reminds me of a kid of mine at recital. I really didn't want to
be there for fear of the missteps but knew I had to be... It's a conundrum...LOL.

12. Because you know what will happen and you know what that means.

With no effective EPA, industry pollution (water, air, food, even toys) will make us sicker and sicker and the cost of medical treatment will cost us more and more. Fewer jobs means there's less in everyone's paycheck to cover other rising costs.

We will become North Korea in the blink of an eye.

14. The healthcare "reform" will be a sweetheart deal for the insurance companies with nothing in it
to effectively help us, the consumer. That's salt on America's gaping wound.
