but I thought the speech was great. I have read in detail all the bills that have come out. The Baucus bill was terrible. But others were good. And we have yet to get the final one. They have to be merged together for the final bill - then we shall see - good or bad. But the speech tonight, IMHO, will help push it along. And the way I interpreted the text of the speech, he still wants a public option. And you have a right to interpret it your way. But in some previous posts, by just agreeing with the post, and not offering any other comments, I got jumped on. And for some reason, just me out of all the K&R replies. Made me a little testy.

It's not everything I hoped for, but it's a step in the right direction...and that's probably all we're likely to get. I'm much happier with small steps in the right direction than I am with bounding leaps in the wrong direction set forth by the republicans.
