You hit all the major points, the concerns of the Democratic left and our centrists; the concerns of moderate Republicans; and called out the hyperbole and lies from the RW fringe.
None of us may get the whole legislative package we hoped for, in the short term, but this speech surely spoke to a legitimate, essential function of government in the process. Thanks for that.

things I disagree with, but it was a good speech, call outs and all. Straightforward, with concessions to both sides as needs be.
Learning how to actually work together again will take time, and I think Obama is doing well.
