Joe Wilson has successfully stolen the night from Obama. |
|
If he simply booed with the crowd, that would be one thing. But this chickenshit of a congresscritter had the balls to call our President a liar to his face.
He better get censured.

He showed the GOP for what it is: Classless and petty.
It will be interesting to see how this is handled, and it has to be. Need to get a handle on this kind of bullshit now, before it escalates. We don't need congresspeople caning each other on the floor again.

He failed to steal the night from Obama - the President's speech kicked ass!
But I do agree he needs to be censured.

he's just another no-class, no-style GOPig who made a fool of himself.
Plus, he was wrong.
Now, for a Congressman to yell out that the President is a liar as the President is addressing a Joint Session of Congress is an act so improper, so embarrassing, so shameful, he's probably too stupid to realize it.
He may be a hero to rightwingnuts, but he is nothing but a fool to righteous people............................

he just made the republics look like uncouth sour nasty has-been out-of-the-loop jerks
but I don't think Wilson stole the night, he just made himself look like..the above rofl..all the young people who will be of voting age in 2012 will want nothing to do with such a GOPstipated has-been party.
man the vibe in there between Obama and the repugs, they must have been even extra shittier to him in private!

My Sympathies to SC for having such a dumbass congresscritter. He'll be a hero in SC but SC isn't exactly doning so well these days with its politians.
Can you imagine the brouhaha that wouldd have ensued if some Democratic congressperson had done that to Bush??????????
The guy did us a favor. Rude, disrespectful and ignorant. Pretty much sums up the GOP these days.

In fact, I hate to tell you, but it actually made the President appear calmer and more in control, if that's possible. Obama clearly was the one exhibiting class and confidence. Wilson looked like a childish fool and tied that demeanor to his anti-health reform stance. He just did those of us who support the President a great favor.
