I just realized this - on a new car, the cost of the steel to build it is less |

that the cost of the health insurance for the workers who built it. Roughly 20% of premiums go directly to the health insurance company's profits. Another big chunk goes to executive pay. So, if you buy a new car, you putting money right into some rich guy's pocket for doing exactly NOTHING!

There is far less steel in modern cars than people think, and steel is not that expensive.
