AP: "Fair and Balanced?"

Just noticed a "fact check" article the AP is running online.

OBAMA: "I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits either now or in the future. Period."

THE FACTS: Though there's no final plan yet, the White House and congressional Democrats already have shown they're ready to skirt the no-new-deficits pledge.

Then they talk about something that would have an impact totaling a bit more than $200 billion over 10 years. Sad to say, that $20 billion a year is chump change when compared to deficits...

Good thing AP was on the case like this a few years ago and informed the public about half-truths, lies and evasions, averting an unnecessary, costly war. Which was supposed to pay for itself...
