I made the mistake of arguing with two people that called Obama "Hitler"...

I initially continued the argument to try and figure out if I could change their minds. I couldn't have been any further from convincing them that they were wrong. Neither of them will learn.

It was just such a mental shock to run into not one, but two people, at the same time, that honestly believe that Obama is a current day Hitler.

What the fuck is the matter with these people? Do they not live in the same world as you and I?

It's called cognitive dissonance. Why do they need to believe the lie? For some it's pure Racism. For others, it might be about any number of things. Obama's young, he's intelligent, he's good looking, he's a family guy. Some people hate themselves.

Silence is a license to continue - If you'd simply ignored them, you would be agreeing with them. One day, you may come across someone who IS able to hear the truth- It may take a LOT of experiences like the one you just had, but if you continue to speak out for the TRUTH- I do believe you will make a positive difference.

19. I was out with my mother today and saw two cars

both with NOBAMA stickers; one had 'Obama Bin Lyin' and the other 'Don't Tread On Me'. These were both beaten up jalopies in two of the most liberal towns in the country: Cambridge MA and Brookline MA. Where were these idiots when Bush was lying his ass off?
