What about the 80/20% Health Insurance Bankruptcy Plan
Edited on Thu Sep-10-09 08:06 AM by FreakinDJ
Lets face it 20% of a broken leg that requires surgury is well over $20,000 - $25,000, (policy holder's share). My next door neighbor lost their home (him, his wife, and their 2 teenaged sons) just last year over this Cheapo-Delux bullshit plan his employer jammed down his throat (as a take it or leave it option) which 80% of the cost was deducted from his check.

Just exactly how is Obama's plan going to protect folks from this type of Non-Insurance?

note......
This is also the exact type of Health Insurance Plans the GOP is peddeling as cost reforms

High Deductible HSA-Qualified Health insurance Plans (HDHPs) that can be paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA) are currently available through many insurance companies. HSA for America acts as a broker to find you the best value on the market. We find that nationally, most people are able to lower their premiums by 40% to 50% with a high deductible HSA-qualilfied plan compared to a conventional copay plan. However, we do offer copay plans as well, so you can compare the rates and get the plan that’s right for you.
