How could the gop base not love that pair? palin lies about death panels and wilson calls the president a liar. Its as if he spends part of his day listening to glen beck. I wonder if wilson was armed last night.

1. Happily for us, the Republicans are in an untenable position.

To be nominated in their party, candidates must be shrieking cretins of the exteme Far Right and oppose every single thing that would sustain the party as a political force.

A political party which permits someone like Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh to define its character and direction deserves obscurity.

I say we make sure the ad footage is at the ready for the 2010 Congressional races and still available for 2012 and beyond.

If the GOP had anybody much better than Wilson and Palin, I haven't seen who it is yet. Romney's rich. Huckabee's charming, but neither one of them could defeat a has-been like John McCain in 08.
