My pants catch on fire and my wallet is a fiery mess. I go to the hospital with 3rd degree burns and congress (if the Republicans like Joe Willson get the amendment they want for illegals passed) says that I can't get treatment because I don't have a valid id. That makes a lot of sense.

The plan (such as it is so far) seems to say that illegals cant obtain government subsidies on insurance, but thats not the same thing as not being able to obtain coverage on your own.

Because that would be a pre-existing condition. How do we know you didn't get into a fiery car wreck just so you could get free medical treatment paid by Joe Taxpayer? Why do you hate America? And its freedom? Shoulda just left you for dead on the road, you goddam freeloader! That would teach you not to choose to get into fiery car crashes and burn your bootstraps off, just when you needed them most! Also.

That to determine if the person has enough money or insurance to pay for the estimated care. An insurance company employee sitting in a cubical in Bombay will then give instructions to EMS to either take the person to the hospital or the morgue waiting room.
It'll work great for 80% of the public.
