Michael Savage is removed from his flagship station in San Francisco

With little notice, Talk 910 KNEW has replaced controversial talk show host Michael Savage in the 3-7 time slot. It is unclear if it was a business decision, or if it was based off of something Savage did. As some of you may recall, Savage had a rather tumultuous split with his long time station 560 KSFO, when he was initially syndicated, that ended with him broadcasting on rival talk station 910 KNEW. Little information is available at this point, but Patriot Axiom has confirmed that the "John and Ken" Show has replaced Michael Savage.

24. I was exposed to Savage for the 1st time on Tuesday, riding in a

Super Shuttle on the way to SFO to catch a flight to my home in Asia. The van driver was laughing out loud during the entire trip because the things Savage says are so absurd. I laughed a bit, too, but told the driver I think the man is dangerous.

On this show he was creating similarities between the Khmer Rouge/Pol Pot and Obama. That is disgusting. He talked about Pol Pot's activities in Cambodia and wondered when Obama would begin the same. Having no access to Fox or any of the other hate speech that goes on in America I was repelled. It was a visceral reaction.

Good riddance from San Francisco and I hope other radio stations follow suite.
