Last night changed my mind... |
|
Not about healthcare. I will go along with the Obama plan as long as there is a public option, but in my heart I still want single payer.
What changed? My thoughts about the republicans. I always thought big business and our republican politicians were in a knowing scam to motivate those with a low IQ to vote for them, so the rich can have more power. But after last night I now think the republican politicians are not in on the scam, they believe that shit they tell their low brow masses. Big business buys the soul of some one with the right look and can speak well (most of the time) and sells them the same scam they want them to sell the masses. I'm not sure if it makes things easier or harder to know that they are victims of the scam, but we should find a way to use that. This also explains C Street. I was thinking that was just an inside retreat for those that in power that were scamming the populace. But it is an indoctrination house for those who believe the scam that need to have a reason to manipulate the masses.

He observed the the Rs built power by appealing to the Xian fundy base. At first, they got their money and their votes for R candidates who were basically main streamers. Then, the Xian wackadoodles realized the the elected Rs didn't do anything for them, and that the fundies could run their own candidates. The result is that Xian fundies like Michelle Bachman are now the R candidates...and the nuts who end up in Congress.

4. Some believe in what they say, some don't. Every one is different. |

I have many Republican friends and almost all are decent honorable people. They believe with all their hearts and minds that what they do is in the best interest of all. The problem is they are wrong.
Remember, 90% of Republicans are really Democrats who don't know the issues.
