Another way Joe Wilson helped us out last night - if we use it right

His challenger, Rob Miller has picked up almost half a million dollars in under 24 hours since the incident.

We should be letting the Blue Dogs know that we'll be funding their challengers at the same rate or better if they sell us out. It wouldn't be hard to do if the larger blogs can organize it

Did ANYONE hear last night that a robust public option (even under a different name) would be included?

ANYONE?

And just a day or two ago we were all applauding the stand of the progressive caucus that they would KILL any bill that didn't include a "robust public option". Now... if we get 5% who have no other forced health care INSURANCE into something that MIGHT be a public option (although, since no one can OPTIONALLY buy into it, how can it be called an option?)... that's good enough for all the Dems in congress and most people here at DU.

It was a great speech.

The repukes showed the world just what kind of asshats they have morphed into.

But it's a bad plan.
