Earlier today, the conservative blog Patriot Axom noted that far-right radio host Michael Savage has been taken “off the air” from his San Francisco-based flagship station, Talk 910 KNEW. Now, a representative from the station has issued a statement explaining why it will no longer air Savage’s show:

I’m going to answer the very first question many of you have.

“Why did you take Michael Savage off the air?”

Here’s your no-spin direct answer; we have decided to go in a different philosophical and ideological direction, featuring more contemporary content and more local information. The Savage Nation does not fit into that vision.

I was in such a panic on my commute home b/c I did not hear Savage's familiar voice. I am literally dumbfounded by this "decision." Please tell the truth, why dump your go to guy!??! Savage is truly one of a kind, NO other radio talk show host can compare on an intellectual and entertaining basis. I am in a panic trying to find him and pray I receive a strong enough signal from 650 KSTE! If anyone else finds a better signal with Savage, please post ASAP!


What a huge mistake, KNEW was a complete unknown till Mike Savage came along.

Your "New Generation of Talk" will not save you as intelligent Americans who spend money do not want phoney conservatives and phoney corporate talk. You give us light-weights like Glen Bleck, O'Reilly, "John and Ken" (are you ##&$&$& kidding me), etc. and "educated-derelict" completely empty and void, just like TV.

Michael Savage is shinning example of the real American spirit, an entrepreneur, a teacher, a learner and perhaps the most gifted American orater and debater ever to be heard by vast numbers of people, setting a prime example of what is possible with ones life!

And now you geniuses (genii) have decided to go the other way! HUH?????

The bottom-line, at best you will sink back into obscurity, and more likely you will be knocked out of existence when Savages emerges on *** another local bay area station ***!
