PM apologizes to Alan Turing: "we were inhumane"
Gordon Brown issued an unequivocal apology last night on behalf of the government to Alan Turing, the second world war codebreaker who took his own life 55 years ago after being sentenced to chemical castration for being gay.

4. I can't agree. This was so barbaric, I think they can take
their apology and shove it up their ass. Sorry, their arse.

6. Even worse
the comments on the freeper board:

:puke:

Buggery laws were and still are sound laws that should be prosecuted. Self inflicted anal wounds and diseases are costly to the system.

I do not agree with the idea of an apology. An apology indicates that the actions taken in that era were wrong for that era.

This isn’t about Turing at all. It’s about justifying the “normalcy” of homosexual lifestyles.

This fag was not a ‘father of anything.' The claim is completely absurd.

There’s a Smash Mouth song called “I’m Sorry About Your Penis” which seems oddly appropriate.

BTW, this article follows the usual leftist template. “Father of the computer” (ridiculus) and breaker of the Enigma codes (rubbish)...persecuted (sob) because he enjoying buggering men and boys (boo hoo)

Sexual perverts should still be castrated, and in fact are.

I'm guessing the reason for this now is due to the successful work of a relatively small group who rigorously advance the homosexual agenda.

Ps don't go do any perverted things now, or you might end up castrated

7. That's an understatement.
The drove one of the most brilliant minds to SUICIDE because of his sexual orientation! :grr:
