I finally understand the term "projection". It was clear in the heckling last night.

Republicans seem to be particularly "good" at it. Deep down inside they are so twisted that they can't imagine anyone being empathetic, caring, truthful - because they lack these things themselves. So in their cat calling and the Lying term, of course it made sense to them, because they couldn't imagine anyone telling the truth - because lying is what THEY would do if they were up there.

They really are a deeply damaged lot.

you don't admit you do or say any of it - instead you say everyone else is doing it

He thinks it's OK when he does it because 'it's different' and his reasons make it OK and he totally believes he's a good person and he only cheats when he has to in order to get ahead of the cheaters who are trying to cheat him.
