Hypothetical: If healthcare reform passes, would the insurance industry go to court to stop it ? |
What do you think ? It would not surprise me in the least if they take it to the SCOTUS.

1. It's life and death for the insurance companies. |
They're not used to being on that side of the equation.

2. I think it depends on what 'heathcare reform' passes.... |
They supposedly were happy to take folks with pre-existing conditions as long as everyone has to buy insurance.... And I believe that they know how to work a loophole, so whatever the final bill stipulates I'm sure the insurance companies are paying enough to have lots of loopholes you could drive a truck through. Forgive my cynicism.... If the bill were to actually force insurance companies to compete with someone other than themselves, then they might go to court. But, it all depends on what 'healthcare reform' looks like in the end.
