Here's what the Inhofe person had to say about our soon to be great President
We sure could use some help in getting rid of him and his sidekick tom coburn if anyone is interested. Sen. Coburn is up in '10

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe, who initially used "superb" and "eloquence" to describe President Barack Obama's speech to Congress on health care, said Thursday that the president was arrogant and even vindictive.

"It was kind of the way he squinted his eyes and looked up. The look on his face," the Oklahoma Republican said. "I had not seen that before."

Inhofe, who said he was sitting close to Obama, said he noticed the change right after another lawmaker yelled "You lie!"

"It was right after that that I saw a change in the voice level and that challenging type of approach," he said.

2. How visionary was this DK post from yesterday...?

Ezra Klein

Joe Wilson’s “you lie” comment might be a great boon to the Democrats in their bid to pass health care.

EVOLVES TO

Michael Scherer (Time.com)

Joes Wilson broke decorum when he screamed “you lie” which may come back to hurt Republicans. Obama stared back at him and you could seem him twitch.

EVOLVES TO

Rush Limbaugh

And ladies and gentlemen Mr. Obama was calling Mr. Wilson a liar so he had to respond. Did you see the way that Obama twitched? Ladies and gentlemen that’s the type of twitch you see from the type of man Obama is (unsaid: Black) when he’s ready for a barroom fight or to push you aside and ravage your sister. We’ve all seen that twitch before and we’ve all known what it means.

EVOLVES TO

Drudge

Breaking Headline: Obama twitch is seen as a challenge not only to Wilson but anybody who disagrees with him. Obama wants a barroom fight – and watch your sister.

EVOLVES TO

Politico

“The Twitch” – major backlash on Obama’s response to Joe Wilson’s comment – while Wilson is nothing more than a back bencher, Obama raised his stature by using body language to make what feels like to a lot of people a direct threat, to Wilson, the Republicans and their sisters.

3. This is disgusting.
I am surprised he didn't just come out and say Obama is an uppity n-word. Tom Coburn is like your crazy uncle at Thanksgiving dinner, he says weird crap that makes no sense, but Jim Inhofe is like your abusive alcoholic father who starts smacking Mom around because the mashed potatoes are lumpy.

Oklahoma is full of people who vote against their own interest because of ignorance, religious bigotry, and racism. I doubt we can get rid of these yahoos anytime soon.

4. Well, the problem is obvious. They didn't get the talking points
to Inhofe soon enough. They must squash the first sign of rational thinking the guy has exhibited in years.

And not only in THIS case, but the "Rush is a fantastic human being" crap is more of the same (after slamming the guy 12 hours before, I mean).

6. This summer I found myself in the unfortunate
position of being on strike. I work for a defense contractor on an Air Force base in Oklahoma. Inhofe made a trip here to try and help move the stalled negotiations along. There was an enormous gulf between the company and us workers. There wasn't anything Inhofe could do or say to help things along. Over the next few days he took that opportunity to throw us union workers, his constituents, under the bus and basically took the side of a multinational corporation based out of Virginia. Up and down the picket line I heard a lot of angry workers who kept proclaiming they would never vote for Inhofe again. I just shook my head and mumbled under my breath that they should have never voted for him in the first place!

Oklahoma is so red, even hard core union workers vote for Republicans. This state needs help in a serious way.

7. Every time he opens his nasty mouth
I cringe! He and Coburn are quite a pair. Their sniveling remarks make me want to rent a UHaul and move the hell out of here!

This x( is what he looks like all the time! Little pointless man...

10. Change?? Sadly, probably no...
or at least not from where I stand. Small town, SW OK, very VERY red. I wear my Obama t-shirt outdoors rarely and someone has stolen my Obama/Biden sticker TWICE! I moved back out of necessity, NOT choice. Maybe someday these backwoods Okies will evolve, but probably not in my racist part of the state I'm afraid.
