Money Talks, so listen up. |
|
Congressional Coward Joe Wilson talked shit to the President about healthcare the other night on national TV. In doing so, he turned his decided advantage in campaign funds to a still-increasing disadvantage in his 2010 Congressional race. His opponent, Rob Miller, has been the benefactor of Americans voting with their wallets and in a B-I-G way to the tune of about a half million dollars in just a few days, and it may just be the difference in the race. That says a lot about how Americans feel about Obama’s plan and who they are going to support financially in order to achieve his goals.
It also sends a serious message to any Congress Critters out there who are stumping for the status quo. Hitting them in the pocket books is the only way they get the message. Don’t think for one second that they aren’t doing the math on this situation, and it’s gotta be a worry for all the Grand Oppostion Party candidates up for re-election.
Money talks, especially with the Repukes, so I’m sure they’re listening now.
